Overview:
The Lord Mayor commissioned The Electric Canvas to produce 10 different Christmas themed projections for the Sydney Town Hall over four weeks leading up to Christmas of 2005 and 2006.
The images created by The Electric Canvas Art Department were whimsical treatments that acknowledged and followed the ornate Town Hall architecture with humorous and light-hearted embellishments whilst incorporating themes and motifs used elsewhere around the city during the festive season. The installation was completely and automated and ran to a varied, pre-programmed timetable without the need for an operator.
