Overview:
The Electric Canvas was engaged to design and install Christmas themed projections for five buildings in the historic Macquarie Street precinct.
Five different themes linked the buildings visually, changing each night to encourage visitors into the city after dark.
Detailed, architecturally-accurate treatment of each building was made possible by the expertise of The Electric Canvas. Specialised camera equipment, combined with CAD was used to produce accurate templates for each building.
Each installation was completely automated and ran flawlessly for the three week period without attendant operators.
Scores of people visited the area nightly and the buildings were perhaps the most photographed in Sydney at the time.
