One Enchanted Evening - Danish Royal Visit

Overview:
During the high profile visit of the Danish Royal couple to Sydney, the Red Cross staged an A-List fund raising dinner at Sydney's prestigious Westin Hotel.
The Electric Canvas was engaged to transform the ballroom into scenes of a magical palace. The TEC Art Department created five original artworks which took the guests on a journey through the enchanted scenes.
The Experience:
Guests arrived to a distant view of the palace, and during the night progressed through a medieval courtyard into a majestic ballroom, a lavish dining hall and finally a grand gallery.
Transforming the Room:
The transformations were projected directly onto the ballroom walls with no added draperies, and the designs accurately encompassed the existing architecture.
For example, the ballroom doors became doors or gateways in the projected scenes, thus further reinforcing the sense of place.
The transformational designs also included "knockouts" video screens.
