In October 2007, The National Gallery of Australia marked its 25th anniversary with a series of public events that included large-scale projections onto the exterior of the gallery.
Unprecedented access to the gallery’s priceless collection was afforded to The Electric Canvas allowing adaptation and abstraction of national art treasures by artists that included Jackson Pollock, Sidney Nolan, Arthur Streeton,Tom Roberts, Albert Tucker, Russell Drysdale, Arthur Boyd, Claude Monet, Andy Warhol and many others. The Electric Canvas used six PIGI projectors to create the bright stunning display that included engaging sequences and scrolling effects.
