Digital Projection & OnlyView
Multimedia Control Systems
OnlyView: Powerful real-time multimedia control system.
Almost all public events utilise multiple display technologies such as LED screens, meshes and projection as well as creative content feeds for integration into broadcast. OnlyView was built from the ground up to control and deliver multiple vision and audio streams in a mixed environment of timecode syncronisation and live cues.
A single operator can deliver many different but co-ordinated playback channels with instant real-time access and flexibility. OnlyView offers real-time manipulation and positioning of media assets and live vision can also be inserted into any output stream and controlled in a variety of ways.
External position encoders can be used to accurately capture the movement of stage machinery and props for accurate tracking of visual elements. A variety of media types can be manipulated and played on multiple timelines under external synchronization. Animation clips, stills, and sound can be composited together with powerful control and real time results.
OnlyView is the perfect tool for the flexible multimedia control on large complex events.
Digital projection - A coming of age
For many years digital or video projection suffered from brightness and resolution limitations that kept it well and truly indoors. With improvements in technology and the emergence serious of LCD and DMD image chips, the video projector finally found a way through the long standing 12,000 lumen barrier. With projectors now capable of brightness up to 30,000 lumens and with cinema resolutions, the game has certainly changed.
As new and more powerful projectors come to market, the opportunities for outdoor data projection for all applications is rapidly widening.
Many tasks once only possible with large-format slide projection are now possible using video data projectors thus opening the door to cinematic animations and real-time control
The Electric Canvas uses the rugged Christie Roadster Data projectors that offer SXGA+ resolution at 20,000 ANSI Lumens brightness.
